Federal Health Minister Nasir Khan will visit Pak-Afghan border on Tuesday (tomorrow) to monitor polio immunisation campaign. Pakistan and Afghanistan have agreed to launch a well-co-ordinated cross-border immunisation campaign to fight against the crippling disease of polio.
Both the neighbouring countries have also agreed to set up five new posts for checking the mass movement alongside the border and to administer polio drops to children there.
In this regard, Health Minister Nasir Khan along with an official delegation will visit Torkhum border to evaluate polio eradication campaign.
