Provincial Minister for Industries, Muhammad Ajmal Cheema has said that Punjab government has provided Rs 400 million for rehabilitation of Quaid-i-Azam Industrial Estate (QIE) in Lahore. Consequently, the industrialists of QIE are now enjoying facilities like road infrastructure, sewerage, water supply and electricity.
He expressed these views while talking to newsmen at QIE, here on Wednesday. Muhammad Ajmal Cheema said that security system of QIE has been made foolproof and new industries are working peacefully. He said that due to industrial growth, there is acceleration of economic activities and creation of jobs in various sectors.
