Thai share prices closed sharply higher Tuesday, jumping 2.12 percent as investors took heart from the army-backed government's measures aimed at easing the strong baht, dealers said. They said sentiment was positive during the day on the back of record gains in the regional markets, setting up Thai stocks for a third consecutive winning day.
The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) composite index rose 18.33 points to 880.95 and the blue chip SET 50 added 15.76 points to 635.07.
