Heavy vehicles banned from 4pm to 7pm during Ramazan

To ensure smooth traffic flow and avoid traffic jam during the Holy month of Ramzan-ul-Mubarak the Sindh government has prohibited the plying of heavy vehicles on roads of Karachi and in this regard a ban has also been imposed under the section 144 Cr P.C on plying of all sort of heavy vehicles form 4pm to 7pm hours.
However, heavy transport vehicles meant for Karachi Port, SITE and Landhi Industrial Area will be exempted from this restriction.
