Sammi-Daewoo express bus service inaugurated

Hyderabad Zila Nazim Naveed Jamil said here on Tuesday that Hyderabad district government was implementing a multi-dimensional strategy with public-private partnership to create competitive atmosphere aiming to ensure qualitative services to the people of the district in each sector of development.
This he sated while addressing, as chief guest, the inaugural ceremony of Hyderabad- Karachi 'Sammi-Daewoo Express Bus Service' at its regional office in Latifabad Sector 7.
He said: "Today is the era of competition where time is very much precious and an important factor playing vital role in fast track of development for each nation." He said people need safe, secure and fast transportation facilities, and district government Hyderabad has provided the same with the co-operation of Sammi-Daewoo Express Bus Service to fulfil one more promise made with the people of the district.
Placing the examples of having benefits to the people due to competitive marketing in Motorcycle and Mobile products, the Zila Nazim was of the view that this bus services would also to create competition in the field of transport that ultimately according to him would benefit the people with better transportation facilities at economy rates to them. Besides this bus services would be interlinked with cities of upcountry in near future as such it would also create facilities of transport, business and job opportunities in these cities especially of interior Sindh, he added.
He said that initially when this proposal was jointly floated by district government Hyderabad and the management of Daewoo Express, it experienced some legal difficulties, as such EDO Law Hyderabad and other legal experts were assigned to create legal way out to make the proposal feasible and workable and added that these legal requirements were fulfilled accordingly.
He assured his full co-operation to the management of Sammi-Daewoo Express Bus Service. He said that since Daewoo Express Bus Service has earned credibility in the field of transport, it is hoped that its management would serve the people up to their expectations and maintain its credibility in future as well.
