In occupied Srinagar, doctors have termed the condition of Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front Muhammad Yasin Malik as life threatening, while he continued his fast-unto-death for the fifth consecutive day today. The JKLF Chairman went on the hunger strike on Tuesday to protest against the continued assaults on the Muslims and their properties by the Hindu fanatics in Jammu.
He was hospitalised on Thursday in an unconscious condition, KMS reported. Muhammad Yasin Malik suffers from the renal disfunction and heart problems. Doctors told the mediamen today that there were high chances of blood coagulation if he did not resume oral intakes immediately. However, the JKLF Chief refused to do so. The All Parties Hurriyet Conference Chairman, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq visited the hospital today, and inquired about the health of the JKLF leader.
The leaders and the activists of Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front took out a procession in Srinagar today, which passed through Lal Chowk, Maisuma, Budshah Chowk, Harisingh High Street, Maharaj Bazar, Haba Kadal, Fateh Kadal, Khanqah-e-Mualla, Rajouri Kadal, Bhori Kadal, Zadibal and Hawal.
They also staged a sit-in outside the Soura hospital where Muhammad Yasin Malik has been admitted in the intensive care unit. Complete strike continued on the sixth day in IHK today in Srinagar, Islamabad and Sopore against the economic blockade and attacks on Muslims and their properties in Jammu by the Hindu communal groups.
