The Election committee of Pakistan Hosiery Manufacturers Association (PHMA) has declared 10 candidate of the Central Executive Committee (CEC) and 14 candidates of the zonal committee of the association elected unopposed.
A total of 27 candidates filed their nominations against 10 vacant seats of central executive committee of the association. Out of them 17 have withdraw leaving 10 candidates against similar number of vacant seats of the central executive committee.
Likewise a total of 27 candidates filed nominations against 14 vacant seats of zonal committee. Out of them 13 candidates withdraw their nomination leaving 14 candidates against same number of vacant seats.
Those who has been declared elected as members of central executive committee of PHMA includes Altaf Hussain, Arshad Mehboob, Irfan Z Bawany, M Jawed Bilwani, Khalid Mukashi, M Naqi Bari, Mohammed Shafi, Saleem Parekh, Salman Ishaq and Tariq Munir.
Elected as members of zonal committee includes Abdul Jabbar Gajiani, Abdul Rauf Patel, Ali Murtaza Panju, Amir Motan, Bashir A Ghaffar, Faisal Dadabhoy, Fawad M Hassain, Imran Ali Sabir, Jamal Rasheed, Junaid Ismail Makda, M.Babar Khan, Mahmud S Haji, Umair Mohammed and Zakir Dadabhoy.
