Street crimes are increasing day by day in our country. It is no more safe to have cell phone because its could be snatched anytime. There may be hardly anyone who has not faced such a thing. People sometimes don't buy an expensive cell phone, women don't wear precious jewellery or gold, and people don't carry big amount of money with them.
Even if they do, all they could think of is to be safe till they reach home. If anyone doesn't agree to these street criminals, they may as well be shot. Killing a human is not a big deal for them. I wonder where they get all these guns from so easily. It is so difficult to go out, especially at nights and at lonely places. And it's even more dangerous for women.
The sadder part is that these criminals are just young boys. It is hard to believe how they ruin their lives for such things. I don't understand why they do this just for money when there are so many other ways to get money. Religion is forgotten and they don't even care about their family members. How much shame they bring to their parents.
I myself had my cell phones snatched. My mother once went to a curtain shop with a cousin of mine for payment. As they went inside, there was an atmosphere full of fear. The shop had been looted and the criminals were constantly waiting for more and more customers so they can gain a larger amount.
They had easily looted around 3 to 4 lakhs. My mother lost her gold jewellery and my cousin lost around 20,000 rupees. And as soon as they left, the police came, wondering where the criminals went. It is such a shame that we are not safe in our own country.
