Partly Facetious: operation Lion Heart or Operation Letters?
"It was known as Operation Lion Heart."
"Don't get so excited about the name."
"You have the most sophisticated weaponry in the world and you use it to drop bombs or whatever you want to use to kill tribesmen on one of the most backward areas in the world and that is known as Operation Lion heart?"
"Well, it's lionhearted of the US military and Pakistan military to go into that lawless region even if it be from up in the skies and..."
"Don't be facetious."
"But anyway these names shouldn't be taken seriously for Pete's sake. What did you expect the US military to call the operation? Operation coyote?"
"Well no, I mean I don't think the name has too much to do with reality."
"I am just curious. How do you think Salmaan Taseer refers to his actions against the Sharif brothers in Punjab?"
"Operation Letters?"
"Too close to the truth for him to use that."
"How about Operation Purge?"
"Yes, that's more like it though knowing Taseer he probably would have thrown in some Jiyala terminology."
"Like what?"
"Like Operation Bilawal or Operation..."
"Ah, but President Zardari doesn't want to be associated with the operation."
"But Taseer doesn't have the clout to do that independently."
"True, but he still doesn't want to be associated with it and his will is law now as you know."
"So how about Operation Very Timely."
"Cool."
