ICI Pakistan and its employees have donated Rs 2 million for the rehabilitation of people in quake hit areas of Ziarat. In addition to this donation, ICI Pakistan has also set up medical camps at Wam and Kawas, some of the most effected areas of District Ziarat, 90 km from Quetta.
A cheque was presented on behalf of ICI Pakistan by Pervaiz A Khan, Senior Vice President Polyster and Corporate Technical, to Lieutenant General Farooq Ahmed Khan (Retd), Chairman, National Disaster Management Authority. Speaking on the occasion, Pervaiz A Khan said.
The earthquake is a terrible tragedy, sadly reminiscent of the earthquake in 2005 that hit Northern Areas of Pakistan. As responsible citizens of this country, ICI and its employees believe it is our duty to come to the aid of the affected communities in Ziarat in the same spirit as we did in 2005.-PR
