President Asif Ali Zardari has called upon the US and allied forces to stop attacks on Pakistani soil, saying that the forces across the border should respect the resolution adopted by Pakistan Parliament during the in-camera sitting. Zardari was talking to Chief of Army Staff General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani, who called on him here on Saturday.
General Kayani briefed the President about his recent visits to Turkey, Saudi Arabia and Brussels. They discussed the situation emerged after continuous missile attacks by the US forces on Pakistani territory. The issues pertaining to the prevailing security situation and frequent drone attacks on the border areas of Pakistan also came under discussion.
