Federal Directorate General of Education has ordered inquiry into the matter of allegedly giving 21 extra marks to Farah Hameed Dogar, daughter of Chief Justice Abdul Hameed Dogar, after re-assessment of papers in violation to rules of the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE), Islamabad.
The Federal Director General of Education in the meeting has ordered to hold a thorough inquiry into the matter and fix the issue, sources in FBISE told this scribe on condition of anonymity.
They said that after the issue came into light, the Federal Directorate is facing pressure regarding the inquiry into the matter. Meanwhile, FBISE Chairperson Shaheen Khan told a news channel that a thorough investigation has been ordered and if anyone found guilty in giving extra marks to Farah Hameed Dogar against the rules will be taken to task.
"I have recently taken the charge of chairperson of the Board and I will hold a thorough inquiry into it," she added. It is pertinent to note that a newspaper has claimed that Farah Dogar was granted 21 extra marks after illegal re-assessment of the papers by the high officials of the board.
