Ground Breaking Ceremony of PQA Sewerage Works Package (Priority-1) at NWIZ, PQA, Karachi recently was held and well attended by PQA officials, industrialists and Business community. Mir Afsar Din Talpur, Chairman Port Qasim Authority, graced the occasion as chief guest. He informed that Development works for Eastern Zone will be started soon with a huge capital outlay.
He also informed the participants that sewerage works package for North Western Industrial Zone project cost is around Rs 54 million and will be completed within six months. He has fulfilled his promise by starting this project. Chairman PQATI, Naeem Ilyas Khanani said that PQATI motto is "Partner in Progress" and we are here to facilitate the process of partnering in progress between PQA and worthy industrialists and business community who have stake in PQA industrial areas.
We congratulate new leadership of PQA under the able guidance of Mir Afsar Din Talpur and his motivated and charged team for honouring their promise to start sewerage works for North Western Industrial Zone in a couple of weeks.
I requested brother Mir Afsar Din Talpur on October 8 in my public speech this project as an Eidi to PQATI and North Western Industrial Zone and he honoured his promise in just 43 days. We hope this project will be completed during this financial year 2008-09 and we will again celebrate Completion of this project.
