A large numbers people of Lyari and activists of Pakistan People's Party (PPP) on the third consecutive day staged sit-in against the killings of two citizens on May 14 in front of Ranger's Headquarters on Saturday.
The participants including women and children carrying placards and photos of deceased persons were raising slogans against Rangers and demanded of the government to arrest those Rangers personnel who were nominated in the FIR of Sharif-ul-Haq a 14 grade officer at KMC and Mohammad Ismail a football player.
Addressing the protesters PPP Lyari chapter leaders Zaffar Baluch and Hassan Ali alleged that the Rangers personnel on May 14 killed two innocent persons during a search operation in Lyari area near Aath Chowk. They said both deceased did not have any criminal record. "Our protest is not against Rangers but against those black sheep who were defaming the whole force by targeting innocent people," they alleged.
