Creation of Southern Punjab province will not only create more jobs but also boost agriculture industry. This was stated by Prime Minister's Media Co-ordinator, Khawaja Rizwan Aalam while talking to various political personalities hailing from Southern Punjab at a local hotel.
He alleged that "Punjab throne" had always kept southern Punjab as less developed area under a planned strategy. Lahore throne has been benefiting their own people which is an injustice, he added. Khawaja Rizwan said present government has provide rights to the people of Balochistan, give identity to the people of Pakhtunkhwa and provincial status to Gilgit-Baltistan.
Now President Zardari and Prime Minister Gilani will complete the creation of southern Punjab province before the next elections. Khalid Mehmood, Colonel Jabbar Abbassi, Syed Shafqat Hussain Bukhari, Haji Rab Nawaz, Barkat Hazaravi, Sarwar Langah Sardar Sial Khan lauded the services of Prime Minister Gilani for the cause of democracy and said that he had sailed out the country from economic and political crisis through the policy of reconciliation. They said it was the long-standing demand of the people of Southern Punjab and added that this area earns the largest foreign exchange for the entire province.
