KMC Metropolitan Commissioner Matanat Ali Khan returned after a seven day visit to Iranian city Mashhad. He was accompanied by Senior Director Veterinary Services Mukhtar Hussain and Senior Director Mass Transit Rasheed Mughal on this visit. They paid detailed visits of ongoing development projects in the second biggest city of Iran besides reviewing the successfully carried out solid waste management, mass transit, light railway, bus rapid and modern slaughter house systems.
Progress on the implementation of MoUs signed between the two countries was also discussed during meetings with the Lord Mayor of Mashhad Syed Mohammad Pezhman, Deputy Mayor and other members of Mashhad City Council.-PR
