President Hyderabad Chamber of Commerce & Industry Gohar Ullah has urged Kotri and Hyderabad industrial estates to get united for the resolution problems. He said this while speaking a reception hosted by KATI in the honour of industrialists and traders of Hyderabad.
The industrial areas of Hyderabad and Kotri had been facing a number of problems for long but the performance of the authorities concerned was unsatisfactory in resolving these issues. He demanded of the government to pay due attention towards resolution of industrialists' problems.
On this occasion, Chairman KATI, Mian Tauqir Tariq welcomed the office-bearers and members of executive committee of the HCCI and assured them of full co-operation for betterment of the HCCI and KATI. He maintained that the industries of Kotri SITE were earning valuable foreign exchange for the country, but it was regrettable that the situation of Kotri Industrial area was very deteriorating, which was leading to the closure of industries.
He further said that there were a number of problems being faced by Kotri SITE, the roads had been completely destroyed and the authority concerned was not repairing the roads due to non-availability of funds affecting development of industrialisation in the area. Senior Vice Chairman Kahlil Ahmed Baloch also addressed participants hailed from Hyderabad, Kotri and Nooriabad and demanded the resolution of problems.
Baloch said that the divisional and provincial facility boards should be re-constituted by the government. Haji Muhammad Yaqoob, former president HCCI said that the efficiency of SITE Ltd was disappointing in SITE areas of Hyderabad and Kotri. Turab Ali Khuwaja, Saleem Arain, Nadeem Ahmed Siddiqui, M Akram Arain, Ziauddin, Mehmood Ahmed, Members KATI Syed Nihal Shah, Ashraf Ali, Aslam Bangash, representative of Hyderabad SITE Association Mazhar-ul-Haq and Aamir Shahab, representatives of Nooriabad Association Kanwar and Zia-ur-Rehman were also present on the occasion.
