Crime Investigation Department (CID) on Saturday claimed to have arrested an alleged target killer and recovered weapons from his possession. According to SSP Fayyaz Khan, police on a tipoff conducted raid at Mobina Town area of Gulshan Iqbal and arrested a man Khan Barki alias Doctor Khan and recovered a Kalashnikov and several rounds from his possession.
He said the detained person was involved in several heinous crimes including targeted killing, kidnapping for ransom and extortion. He said the accused belonged to a political party.
