Three members of a family die of suffocation

At least three members of a family lost their lives, due to suffocation at Zia Colony in the jurisdiction of Korangi police station. According to police and rescue sources, the tragic incident took place in a house located at Zia colony where three family members had lost their lives due to suffocation when they went down in an underground water tank for cleaning purpose.
DSP Qasim Ghauri said the victims were identified as Haji Akhtar, 35, and his two nephews Fayyaz, 22, and Imran, 18. The bodies were sent to the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre for autopsy. The family hailed from Bhawalpur and the victims were labourers by their profession.
