World's largest private label trade fair: 20 Pakistani exporters participate in training session

Twenty exporters from Pakistan participated in a training session organised in Amsterdam by Centre for Promotion of Imports from Developing Countries CBI Netherlands and Commercial Wing Embassy of Pakistan The Hague. The participants represented the 10 food and non-food exporting concerns exhibiting at the world's largest private label trade fair being held in Amsterdam on May 22-23.
The training session was organised on the sidelines of the trade fair to train the exporters on the market access requirements in the European Union. Speaking on the occasion, Don Luijn, CBI Programme Manager stated that CBI was assisting the Pakistani concerns in entering the European market.
CBI has also launched an export-coaching programme for food ingredients exporters. Under the ECP, CBI will assist the participants to upgrade their company capacity to be able to export to the European Union. In a statement from The Hague, Pakistan's Commercial Counsellor, Muhammad Ashraf, stated that the training activity was aimed at building the capacity of our exporters and at optimising the benefits from participation in international trade fairs.
This is a highly professional trade fair visited by the buying managers of leading supermarket chains in Europe. The workshop was geared to coach our exhibitors on professionally marketing their products to the high quality supermarket buyers.
