Alexander Ivanchuk, President of the Ukraine-Pakistan Business Council visited the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) on Wednesday and inked an MoU for establishment of Pakistan-Ukraine Joint Business Council. He was accompanied by Ambassador of Ukraine Volodymyr Lakomov, Ambassador of Pakistan to Ukraine Saleem Mela and the members of Ukrainian business delegation.
Former President FPCCI Tariq Sayeed welcomed the delegation and said both the countries form a trade market of over $200 billion. The volume of trade, however, was unfortunately about $175 million, which needed to be increased, he added. Chairman Pakistan-Ukraine Business Council Nadeem Khalid, founder president of Women's Chamber of Commerce and Industry Begum Salma Ahmed, Waseem Vohra, and Abdul Shakoor Khatri also spoke on the occasion.-PR
