ISE index gains 27.76 points

Equities moved both ways on the Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) where investors adopted a cautious approach under the lead of hot favourite amid increase in index. ISE Ten Index showed an improvement of 27.76 points as the ISE Ten Index moved from 3069.88 to 3097.64 points. The overall turnover amounted to 99,500 shares as compared to previous volume of 59,500 shares.
Total 129 companies participated in buying and selling activity. Majority of stocks (86) closed in positive territory, 43 closed in negative territory, whereas no company remained pegged to its overnight levels. The volume of Fauji Cement was 35,000 shares. The volume of Lafarge Pakistan Cement was 30,000 shares. The volume of PTCL was 11,000 shares.
