Sindh Chief Secretary, Sajjad Saleem Hotiana asked the Administrative Secretaries to ensure quick disposal of public complaints to provide them with relief and facilitation at the earliest. He issued such directives on Thursday while dealing with complaints/ applications received in his office. Many complainants have submitted their requests direct to the Chief Secretary, said an official statement.
Sajjad Saleem Hotiana noted that all officers and employees of Sindh Government should perform their duties honestly and devotedly in the larger national interest. Meanwhile, Sindh Chief Secretary expressed his concern over shortage of water in various areas of the city.
On a request of Rashid Qureshi, resident of House No 509, Block-1 Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Karachi, the Managing Director, Karachi Water and Sewerage Board (KW&SB) has been asked to ensure supply of water immediately to all affected areas and submit a report to the Chief Secretary within 24 hours. Hotiana also showed his resentment that illegal hydrants are reportedly creating problem in water supply and directed for resolution of this situation forthwith.
