Juwar prices higher on grain market

Juwar prices were higher on the wholesale grain market on Thursday in the process of modest trading, dealers said. On the cereals side, Juwar low type was higher by Rs 100 to Rs 2600 and the best variety was up by Rs 50 to Rs 2700, other commodities maintained overnight levels, they said. On the grams side, Bajra low type rose by Rs 50 to Rs 2950 while the good quality was unchanged at Rs 4200, they said.
On the rice sector, Irri-white low type shed Rs 50 to Rs 2650 and the best variety was lower by Rs 100 to Rs 2700, they said. On the seeds side, Til regular lost Rs 100 to Rs 7400, cottonseeds oilcake with bag low type fell by Rs 25 to Rs 1200 while the good variety held the overnight level at Rs 1250, they said. Prices were unchanged on the rice side, they said.
