Lean business on grain market

Modest activity was witnessed on the wholesale grain market on Saturday in the process of trading, dealers said. On the cereals side, wheat new Bardan shed Rs 5 to Rs 3370, other items showed no change due to balanced demand and supply, they said.
On the rice sector, Irri-6 Sindh new low type was unchanged at Rs 3525 while the best variety was up by Rs 3570, they said. On the seeds side, cakes, low type slipped by Rs 5 to Rs 1295 and the good type was lower by Rs 25 to Rs 1300, cottonseeds oilcake with bag Sindh new inferior quality was down by Rs 20 to Rs 1300, they said.
