WhatsApp to reportedly launch Dark Mode

WhatsApp has lately introduced new features including group video and audio calls. This time, rumor has it that WhatsApp is set to introduce a new Dark Mode feature making the app more user-friendly.

Reports by famous WhatsApp tipster WABetaInfo stated that the social media messaging app is in works of a new feature called WhatsApp Dark Mode that it will introduce in its next update.

The dark mode that has been introduced by many other apps like YouTube and Twitter, is preferred by users since its dark theme makes the app go easy on eyes due to low light, making it convenient to use at night. Moreover, it also eases the battery life of the phone, wrote WCCFTech.

However, there are not many details about this feature, but the update is likely to be available on all iOS and Android devices and will be entirely OLED friendly, as stated the tweet.
