Week-long National Archery Coaching Course under the aegis of Pakistan Archery Federation concluded here at PSB Coaching Center on Saturday. President Pakistan Archery Federation Muhammad Wisal Khan, President KP Sports Writers Association Jehanzeb Siddique, Member Pakistan Table Tennis Federation Kifayat Ullah and Secretary General FATA Volleyball Association Khurshid Iqbal graced the occasion as guests.
Speaking on this occasion, Muhammad Wisal Khan lauded President KP Archery Association Syed Aqil Shah for supporting the association which invited more than 20 coaches from all across Pakistan for the week-long coaching course wherein the coaches were updated about new rules, and other changes so far made by World Archery Federation in the game of Archery.
He said Archery is rapidly gaining roots in Pakistan and in a short span of time the players of Pakistan have recorded good talent in Asia and in some international events held recently. Muhammad Wisal said that like Baseball, Softball, Rugby, he introduced Archery in Pakistan and now a good talent of the game exiting.
Hailing from a remote village, Yar Hussain of District Swabi and a banker by profession, Muhammad Wisal has great respect in the field of sports due to their unmatched services. Muhammad Wisal disclosed that the aim and objective of the course in Peshawar is to update local coaches of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa about the game.
He assured that Pakistan Archery Federation would continue working for the promotion of archery in the country. He said efforts would be made to send maximum number of archers to international events so that they could get international exposures for better performances while representing Pakistan in the international events. At the end, the guests gave away certificates to the coaching course participants.
