Xiaomi launches smartphone with 48MP camera for only $150
Chinese smartphone manufacturer Xiaomi has announced its brand new Redmi Note 7 phone featuring an amazing 48MP camera, massive screen and battery, all while costing only around $150.
Smartphone maker Xiaomi introduced the first phone of its new Redmi sub-brand – the Redmi Note 7. The phone comes in with incredible latest tech while also sporting a budget-friendly price tag.
The smartphone features a 6.3-inch LCD screen with a waterdrop notch design for the selfie camera. The phone comes in three memory variants – 3GB RAM/32 GB storage, 4GB RAM/64GB storage and 6GB RAM/64GB storage, along with an expandable microSD card slot.
The phone sports a main 48MP camera with a secondary 5MP one for AI purposes and Portrait Mode. There is another 13MP front selfie camera in the tiny waterdrop notch. Redmi Note 7 has a huge 4,000mAh battery life with quick charging ability.
The phone has been introduced in three colors namely Dream Blue, Shuguangjin (pink), and Bright Black. But, what’s the most interesting part of the phone is its easily affordable price tag. The phone starts from 999 yuan ($147) for the 3/32GB variant, and goes on to 1,199 yuan ($177) for the 4/64GB version and 1,399 yuan ($207) for the 6/64GB one.
As per The Verge, the Redmi Note 7 will be available in China first, but will soon enough make its way to other markets as well.
