BERLIN: Germany's consumer prices, harmonized to compare with other European countries, rose by 0.3 percent in December from the previous month and were up by 1.7 percent from the previous year, the Federal Statistics Office confirmed on Wednesday.
On a non-harmonized basis, consumer price inflation for December was also confirmed. The national index was up by 0.1 percent from November and was 1.7 percent higher on the year.
