LG’s next smartphone might have a second attachable screen

Moving on from foldable displays, LG is all set to incorporate double screens in its smartphones by attaching a second screen onto it.

LG next smartphone might feature two screens, with the second one being able to attach itself onto the phone, reported CNET. The phone, whose name has not yet been finalized but is rumored to be LG G8, will have an option for a second-screen attachment, said a person familiar with the situation.

The screen attachment, which is a sort of case with a screen, could probably double the total screen size of the device. The second screen will be an optional attachment designed to expand screen size, however, it is still not clear how the gimmick will work or if it would sold separately or be included in the box.

The phone might be among the ones launching next month at the Mobile World Congress on February 25.
