‘Bharat’ teaser out: A journey of man and a nation together
Salman Khan has released the much-anticipated teaser of his upcoming film ‘Bharat’. In the teaser, the filmmakers describe Bharat as the journey of a man and a nation together. Therefore, Salman will sport several different looks of varying age groups.
The one-and-half minute teaser also gives glimpse of Salman’s several professions in the film. From rockstar bike rider to navy officer to old man, Bharat teaser looks promising as ever.
The teaser starts with the visuals of an overcrowded train at a railway station in Pakistan alluding to the pictures from the Partition of India. In the voiceover, Salman Khan says that he was named Bharat, after his country, by his father. Therefore, he doesn't give importance to questions about his cast, creed and religion.
However, if there is one thing that the fans have left wondering is the fact that, there is no glimpse of the film's leading lady Katrina Kaif.
Reportedly, the makers decided to keep her look and role guarded. It was a team decision to only establish Salman's character in the teaser. Katrina's look and character details would be revealed only in the trailer, which will come out nearer to the film's release date.
The film will hit theatres on Eid 2019.
