KARACHI: Dawood University of Engineering and Technology (DUET) Karachi awarded 404 degrees to its passing out students of 15th Bach of Engineering and 14th Batch of Architecture sections at its Jinnah Campus on Saturday.

Sindh Governor Imran Ismail presented degrees to the students. The gold and silver medals were also presented to those students who showed outstanding performance.

Muslim Ali, a student of Metallurgy and Material Engineering, clinched first position.

He also secured top position in Engineering Faculty.

Alina Saif and Muhammad Irfan secured joint first position in Faculty of Architecture and thus, got a gold medal.

Silver medals were presented to nine students for getting top marks in their respective departments of Electronics, Chemical, Industrial & Management, Computer System Engineering, Metallurgy & Materials, Architecture, Environment and Energy Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering and Petroleum Engineering.

Dawood Foundation chief Hussain Dawood also attended the ceremony.
