Imad overjoyed with Shadab's return to international cricket
Pakistan bowling all rounder Imad Wasim is overjoyed with the return of Shadab Khan into the squad, saying that the arrival of the leggie would ‘make a big difference’ in the bowling department.
"With return of Shadab it will make a big difference as our combination will change so it’s a great thing for Pakistan cricket that Shadab has returned," said Imad.
Pakistan leg spinner was declared fit for the World Cup, after the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) informed that Shadab’s latest test results reflected zero viral load in his blood.
Meanwhile, off spinner Imad admitted that Pakistan’s bowling has been a concern but applauded the role of batsmen, after the side scored over 350 runs in the last two games. "Our bowling had some problems but you need to give credit to England as they batted really well. I feel our bowling still has the strength and capability to topple any side," he said.
"We should be happy that we have had such a series to play in; If we give our all in the next two matches then we will have good results," added Imad.
With the series 2-0 in favour of England, the Men in Green are scheduled to take on the hosts in the fourth One Day International (ODI) today (Friday).
