ISLAMABAD: The Accountability Court on Thursday permitted National Accountability Bureau (NAB) to investigate former Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi in bullet proof vehicle case.
Accountability Court duty judge Shahruh Arjumend while hearing the case allowed anti graft body to investigate Abbasi in bullet proof vehicle case. Abbasi is already in the custody of NAB in liquefied natural gas (LNG) contract scam.
The investigation officer of NAB appeared before the court and requested to grant him permission to investigate Abbasi in connection with import of 34 bulletproof cars from Germany for South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) conference.
