World Cup hero Archer becomes WWE champion as well

World cricket champions England got their very own custom built World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) title belt on Thursday.

“Thank you WWE and WWE UK,” tweeted England Cricket, as English cricket superstars including fast bowling sensation Jofra Archer, blistering opening batsman Jason Roy among others were seen flaunting their new world heavyweight championship title.

This comes after WWE Executive Vice President of Talent, Live Events and Creative of WWE Triple H announced to present a custom made world heavyweight championship belt to the England cricket team for winning this year’s Cricket World Cup.

“An incredible tournament, an awe-inspiring final and a team of worthy champions,” Triple H captioned the picture tweet of the championship belt. “Congratulations to England Cricket for winning the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2019!”

The Englishmen grabbed their very first World Cup title last month after they beat New Zealand in the final on basis of boundary count when the super over ended in a dramatic tie.
