Robert Pattinson ‘was set to propose’; now wants ‘man to man’ chat with Director Sanders
KARACHI: Heartbroken Robert Pattinson hoped to marry his Twilight co-star and partner of three years and was making preparations to spring a romantic proposal before she admitted to cheating on him with Director Rupert Sanders, according to media reports.
Pattinson was trying to convince secretive Stewart to be more open about their relationship, which the pair largely kept out of the public eye, a leading magazine says.
After being blindsided by Stewart‘s affair with Sanders, Pattinson moved out of their Los Angeles home. Now, he’s looking to have a sit down with the man who tore his life apart.
A source has revealed to leading UK website, “Rob wants to have a man to man chat with Rupert to find out exactly what happened between him and Kristen. Kristen has already betrayed his trust by cheating, so he can’t be sure that she will tell him exactly what went on between her and Rupert. Rupert has a wife and a family to save, so Rob feels like he has nothing left to lose and would be honest with him.”
According to the source, Pattinson feels betrayed by both Stewart, 22, and Sanders, 41, because he trusted Sanders as Stewart’s Director on “Snow White and the Huntsman” and had no idea they were getting so close while he wasn’t around.
“Rob was really blindsided by this and he’s going through the typical stages of being cheated on,” the source says. “He was hurt and heartbroken, then angry and pissed off, and now he just wants answers. He feels like he needs to know exactly what happened, how far it went and how many times, so he can figure out if this is something he can move past. He’s not ready to talk with Kristen, it’s too painful, so he’s going to Rupert.”
“There is one thing I’ve never understood. Why people cheat.” Pattinson told Italian Vanity Fair last year. His words are now coming back to haunt him.
