Talking to journalists at an Iftar-dinner hosted by PPP leader Nafis Siddiqui, he said there was also space for improvement in 2002 local government system in which provinces were only given the role of 'post-office', and that was the reason the PPP had opposed it.
He said the Sindh Government will study other provinces' local government systems as well to make efforts to introduce a uniform local government system.
The minister said terrorism is the biggest challenge faced by the country and it is a hurdle in political evolution and progress of the country.
He said the PPP government made every possible effort during its tenure to tackle terrorism and expressed the hope that the present government will also take measures to control this menace.
