SUKKUR: The 78th death anniversary of national poet, Dr Allama Muhammad Iqbal will be observed here on April 21 to acknowledge his services for floating the idea of a separate homeland for the Muslims of sub-continent.

In this connection, Inter Global Human Development Society (IGHDS), Sukkur, will organise a seminar at district council hall here to pay rich tributes to Dr Muhammad Iqbal, who mobilized the Muslims of subcontinent through his poetry for an independent Islamic country.

Local FM channels will broadcast special programmes to pay tributes to the great poet.
