LCCI flays raise in POL prices

Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI), rejecting out-rightly yet another increase in POL prices, has urged the government to immediately withdraw it.
In a press release issued here on Sunday, Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry president Mian Anjum Nisar said that the hike in the POL prices has enhanced the cost of production of export products, besides making it very hard for the exporters to compete with India, China, Taiwan, Thailand and other countries in the international market.
"These countries", he said "are selling cheaper export items than Pakistan in the international market.
