Activity at Karachi and Qasim ports

The Karachi Port handled 125,934 tonnes of cargo including 97,205 tonnes import and 28,729 tonnes export cargo during last 24 hours ending at 0700 hours on Tuesday.
The cargo comprised of 39,889 tonnes dry and 86,015 tonnes liquid cargo.
Three ships namely Kota Teguh, Kota Permas and Nur Yan Bu sailed out to sea during the report period.
Six vessels viz Bunga Terasek, Jade Trader, Apl Portugal, Kota Wajar, Talyo-II and Lucky Moon are currently at the berths.
Four ships namely Bunga Terasek, Jade Trader, Kota Wajar and White Star expected to sail on Tuesday, while two vessels viz Talyo-II and Lucky Moon are expected to sail on Wednesday.
Two ships namely MT Shalamar and Sinar Bontang due to arrive on Tuesday, while two vessels viz Hyundai Stride and Colombo are due to arrive on Wednesday.

The cargo comprised of 9,805 tonnes chemicals; 2,976 tonnes edible oil and 12,257 tonnes iron ore.
MV Chem Adriatic sailed out to sea during the report period, while two more ships namely Ginga Kite and Kimolia Tis are expected to sail on Tuesday afternoon.
Three ships namely MV Contship Tamarind Giovanni, Chemstar Belle and Fabric Schutle due to take berths on Tuesday.
