Fifteen persons including women were killed and 27 others injured when a bus turned turtle on Motorway near Bhera late on Monday night.
According to details, a Daewoo bus with 46 passengers on board going from Rawalpindi to Lahore, turned turtle while trying to save a car which suddenly sped past it near the Bhera inter-change.
As many as 15 injured have been admitted to a Bhera hospital, five at Miani, and five in Bhalwal hospitals. Two passengers in serious condition were brought to DHO hospital.
Secretary Pakistan Medical Association (PMA) Sargodha, Dr Sikander Hayat Warraich and district officer revenue Ijaz Hussain Baloch supervised the rescue operation.
They also advised doctors to give proper medical attention to the injured and provide medicines and other essentials.
