Information Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed on Saturday said the government has tightened noose around the terrorists involved in Karachi killing.
"This heinous act seemed to be committed by dejected elements, who were never allowed to use soil of the country to achieve their nefarious designs", he said while talking to reporters after inaugurating a media seminar here.
He said these elements lose no opportunity to sabotage peace just to get suffice their ill wills, whenever they come across any vulnerable target.
Referring to the earlier incidents of terror in the metropolis, he said all those responsible for these heinous activities have been arrested and being brought to the book.
He hoped those involved in the Friday's incident would soon be arrested and given exemplary punishment.
Referring to the preliminary probe into the incidents the minister said it seems to be an outcome of attack by a suicide bomber, adding the suicidal attacks have become a challenge for the civilised societies these days, and effective measures are to be taken to curb this menace.
Expressing the determination of the government towards its commitment to continue play the role in global fight against terrorism, Sheikh Rashid Ahmed said the government is taking effective measures to deal with the terror in an effective manner.
NO ADMINISTRATIVE CHANGES: Sheikh Rashid Ahmed on Saturday said presently no administrative changes were being made in Sindh following the terrorist attack at Hyderi Mosque in Sindh Madrassah-tul-Islam during Friday prayers.
At present, entire world was facing the menace of terrorism, the minister told Indus News television.
The minister said, federal government was in regular contact with the provincial government to handle this case.
