More PML-N workers arrested

Law enforcing agencies continued chasing, raiding and harassing the PML-N workers on Sunday, and party leaders claimed that the police arrested many activists from the provincial capital and other parts of the province.
According to party sources, the police conducted raids at houses of the party leaders, workers and activists and harassed their family members.
Giving details of fresh arrests, a party leader said that the police picked up party's UK President Iqbal Sandhu and his brother Tahir Sandhu from Iqbal Town Area of the city.
Iqbal Town police raided a house of party leader and in his absence arrested his employees Nadeem, Chand and Farrukh Shah, he added.
Ayub and Islam were picked from Baghbanpura area while PML-N President of UC 118 Chaudhary Anwar was booked late at night. Iqbal and Khalilur Rehman were also picked from the city.
Those, who were arrested from Kahna area, are Ghulam Majid, Mirza Naseer Baig, Shoaib, Haji Arshad and Sarwar and Rana Ashraf.
According to party circles, a close aide of Shahbaz Sharif, Boddi Pehalwan was also among the arrested.
Those arrested from Kasur district were Ali Raza Khan, head of PML-N Youth Wing and also Mukhtar, Aqeel, Wasim Akhtar and Javed.
