Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) has briefed the MBA students belonging from Peshawar, about the working of exchange including factors to be considered before buying shares of any listed company.
Managing Director ISE, Aftab Ahmed Chaudhry said here on Friday that the visit of 50 MBA students was for orientation to observe the functioning and operations of the ISE and the technicalities of investment in stocks.
The students were given detailed presentation on the country's stock markets particularly about the role of Islamabad Stock Exchange.
Aftab said that the students were briefed about the procedure of investment in shares and advantages of investing in share market.
Replying to the various questions raised by the students, the MD of the exchange outlined the major reforms being implemented in the stock markets for the purpose of enhancing transparency in their operations.
Later on the students also visited a brokerage house of a Member of Islamabad Stock Exchange where they saw live trading of shares.
The students were also briefed as to what factors should be considered prior to buying shares of any company.
The students lauded the efforts of the ISE for educating the general public about the share investment.
