US-Pakistani allowed to go abroad

Justice Tassadaq Hussain Gillani of the Lahore High Court on Friday allowed one-time permission to a Pakistani-American to go abroad.
The court directed the petitioner Aslam Sahi, who is wanted here in a case to deposit a bond worth Rs 500,000 and return to Pakistan within six weeks on completion of the business assignment on the basis of which he had sought relief from the court.
Sahi had filed a petition to get his name removed 'from the Exit Control List (ECL) when he had come to Pakistan two months ago, and came to know that he was wanted in a case registered against him 25 years ago.
In his previous petition on the same subject, the High Court had ordered him to contact the trial court and apply for bail before leaving Pakistan.
