Minister for eliminating obstacles in way of industrial uplift

All obstacles in the way of industrial development and investment in the province would be eliminated and the role of the government departments would also be curtailed gradually in the industrial units.
This was stated by Punjab Minister for Industries, Commerce and Investment Mohammad Ajmal Cheema while talking to various delegations of industrialists and workers at his residence here.
The minister said that the results of Punjab Industrial Policy 2003 were very encouraging and industrialists as well as workers have expressed their satisfaction over this policy. He termed it the roadmap of industrial growth in the province.
The minister said that preparation of Punjab Industrial Policy 2004 has already been started and soon it would be announced to which more incentives and facilities would be provided to industrialists and workers.
He said that the industrialists would be provided developed plots in Sunder Industrial Estates and all infrastructure would be completed when these plots handed over to them.
