Another MMA activist succumbs to injuries

Another activist of Muttahida Majlis-i-Amal (MMA) expired here on Sunday after being kept four consecutive days in intensive care unit of a local hospital, which raised the toll to 12 persons who killed in by-elections violence on May 12.
Khan Shahid, 50, was shot and injured by unknown terrorists in the jurisdiction of Brigade Police Station.
On the night of May 12, some unknown terrorist sneaked into his house situated in central Jacob Line, near Inquiry Office and attacked his family members with sophisticated weapon, which resulted in the death of Ishrat Ali Khan, Wasiq Ali and Khan Shahid.
Ishrat Ali Khan died on the spot while Khan Shahid and Wasiq Ali were rushed to the Jinnah Hospital.
The deceased, Khan Shahid, left behind a widow, two daughters, and a son to mourn his death.
