A councillor killed his wife and her niece over family dispute at Mohallah Ghafoorabad here on Sunday.
According to police, a General Councillor of city Union Council alias Dr Abdul Jabbar killed his second wife Nasreen Bibi and her ten-year niece Sobia by hitting them with an empty bottle of beverage over domestic issue.
City police have registered a case against the accused on the report of deceased's brother Mulazam Hussain.
The accused has been arrested by the police.
