Sust Dry Port to be inaugurated by June

Opening of Sust Dry Port will be carried out by the end of June 2004 which would boost trade activities and further strengthen warm Sino-Pak friendship.
This was stated by visiting Director and vice chairman of International Trade Promotion Council of Xingjing province of China, Yuan Jiamin here on Sunday while in a meeting with Inspector General Police Northern Areas Sakiullah Tareen, officials sources said.
Sust Dry Port, he added, in future would be a centre of trade among China, Pakistan, Afghanistan, and central Asian states. This would progress the trade activities as well as usher a new era of prosperity and development.
The visiting dignitary termed Sust Dry Port a best example of friendship.
Official sources said that IGP vowed to make every possible measures to further ensure the peaceful and amicable environment for trade as the border has recently been opened for trade.
