Malaysian tourism effort from June 23

The Malaysian Tourism Promotion Board (MTPB) is organising a promotional effort in Pakistan from June 23 till July 1. According to the MTPB, the drive will provide a platform for the Malaysian private sector to further explore the business opportunities present in this country. The promotion will cover three cities, namely Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad.
Deputy Minister of Tourism, Malaysia, Y.B.Dato' Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, who will lead the effort, has invited people from different walks of life to "experience the sights and sounds of Malaysia truly Asia" to be held on June 24 at a local hotel.
The programme will include video presentation on "Malaysia, the heart of Southeast Asia," introduction to the tele-series Mahsuri and cast by Zeba Bakhtiar, and screening of edited version of Mahsuri (with English subtitles) followed by a cultural show.
